Truck exhaust system replacement - June 14, 2006, 06:50 PM

My exhaust system is really done now. On the way the Daytona it broke at the joint after the cat. A little more growl so no problem. Today coming up the mountain on the way back from the track it broke some more. Now its REALLY LOUD. It looks like it busted at another joint before the cat. The whole system is rusted to hell.

Does anybody do exhaust work or have someone they can recommend? In or close to Loudoun is preferred. This is for a '99 Dakota 5.2L. I need to have this done by no later than Thursday the 22nd.

Forgot to mention he did my uncles 99 Dakota. He is the one that told me about roberts.. Depending on how long you will own the truck.. If you want to have it longer than 5 years, i recommend getting the stainless steel pipes. More $$ but they last longer..

Trav, I can't believe you didn't ask the BG guy......

give me a call, I can help you set something up just about anywhere. If you don't mind a little drive, however, I'm almost sure I can get you hooked up at cost at a variety of places. My territory is in and around Tysons and Fairfax.

Dave from DJ's Automotive does custom exhaust systems. They're in Purcellville or however you spell it.
