Uhaul Reservations tip and trick. - June 10, 2011, 02:55 PM

Quick tip and trick.

If you make a reservation today with Uhaul for a trailer, truck anything that you want picked up the same day, you cannot cancel your reservation without getting charged a $50.00 fee. Uhaul rules state: you need 1 day in advance to cancel.

Instead of cancelling you call in and have them change your date 3-4 days in advance. Then you go back online then cancel your reservation.

This also works for hotel reservations.

I just use old unexpired gift cards with a 0 balance to make reservations.
When it's time to charge you as a no show your card just gets declined and you don't have to worry about calling in to reschedule and then calling back to cancel.

^ This method also works for uhaul lol

Ever consider working In Wall St finance? You'd be great at it.
Put in a option to buy a bunch of stock - say on an earnings call that you see good things on the horizons for this stock - then go to your trade station, dump it, and book the profit.

Same principle.

“Any man who tries to be good all the time is bound to come to ruin among the great number who are not good. Hence a Prince who wants to keep his authority must learn how not to be good, and use that knowledge, or refrain from using it, as necessity requires”.
