If you watched last night, you saw Melvin GET BEAT!! He had been talking smack the entire show thus far about how good he is, how no one could beat him, and how if he fought Matt Hughes -- he may get beat but Matt would know he was in a dogfight ... Yeah Right!

I was grinnin' from ear to ear!

I thought he was going to take out the guy but he never went for the kill. He played it safe and didn't finish the job. I saw the punches that he rocked that kid with but he didn't follow up on it. Why didn't he choke the guy out, he had him but was soft in the end. Melvin is a defender in an offensive sport. He took heavy blows to the head and that was when he moved and saw that he could lose. I am not in that sport and respect each that do it but Melvin had his chance and blew it due to lack of the aggressionin action rather than talk.

Um, no he didn't. STFU.

Physically, Melvin is one of the most impressive fighters I've ever seen in a ring. I was truly impressed with the way he moved, and was able to break out of the guard.

Unfortunately, he didn't have that kill mentality. Almost like Josh Koschek, but not really.

I have a feeling we'll be seeing him again in the octagon in the near future.

Right up the 1 hole.

He apparently broke his hand during the fight but didn't tell anyone. I'm guessing that's why he wasn't as aggressive. Especially after that kick to the face he planted. I thught it was going to be over right there.

Everyone has a bad day. Even the best can lose.

Then again... That's just me.

If you watched the previews of next week's episode, the dude he fought is hurt. Probably on his elbow where that punch landed.

Remember the first season? Hence, seeing Melvin again soon...

Right up the 1 hole.
