UPS IS DA SUCK!!!!! - February 10, 2010, 08:26 AM

Been waiting on a couple boxes to be delivered and UPS keeps say they can't make it back here. Well the roads have been clear since Monday afternoon and I have had Fedex back here everyday. I will from now on start using Fedex for everything. I am the shipper for my work and use UPS and will have that changed to Fedex. UPS=SLACKERS!!!!! \

BTW I will be driving to the UPS place to pick my stuff up.

Different companies have different policies for what they consider impassable road conditions. In addition, the route from the UPS distribution warehouse and from the FEDEX distribution warehouse may be completely different and pass through very different road conditions.

Patience is a virtue.

I had UPS tell me once they were unable to find my house. which was funny since they normally could find it, and had made a delivery there the day before. I had just as many issues with FedEx, they used to leave packages at the wrong house, enough that i quit using them all together.

UPS is the suck now. I was gone, out of country, had two packages I ordered toward the end of my deployment thinking that I have the 14 days after the third delivery attempt... they've changed that, shipped back on the day of the third delivery attempt.

New policy as of 2010. Really fucking stupid for those of us that travel or can't be at our fucking houses at 2PM in the afternoon during the week.

They delivered my new gloves yesterday but they didn't even bother going door to door, just dropped all the boxes off at the office. Oh well.

UPS dude is the only one who made it down my road.

Big ol box of gear and helmets made it on Monday...and yes he dropped it off at the door.

FedEx has not been seen in days...

UPS advised they were deliverying morning when I called them around 9am.

By 11am I got an email that they cancelled deliveries in Manassas around 10am, so false hopes were given to us.

FedEx Ground/Express cancelled first thing this morning and so have most freight companies.

I'm suppose to get my HID kits tomorrow through UPS. I doubt I'll get it. How can I pick it up myself from ups? Do I have to call in first?

dodge, fedex is way cheaper than UPS for your company too. When we switched over to them we saved millions a year, their system is lot harder to use though
