Verizon gives out unlock codes?
I thought they one of their SIM cards and make you purchase one of their grossly inflated International Packages.

Last time I went abroad in Europe, I just added the international plan to my blackberry.
It came out to about $12 for 10 days over there. Full Data, voice, text, etc. You can specify the specific dates in which you travel and your account will have the international plan active.

Seems easier than going through the SIM unlock process.
