Vector Format Conversion - March 21, 2016, 05:01 PM

Hey, all! I'm doing some promotional work with a new company, but all that I have is jpeg and they want Vector format. What's it take to do this? Can anyone do it for me?

If you have a high resolution jpg and the color palette isnt crazy then its easy to convert it with Illustrator. If you have a lot of colors and shadows then you may be better off redrawing it

Yep illustrator. It can get hairy. I don't have it anymore though since I've changed computers. I'm pretty sure you may find a pirated copy off pirate bay.

Which logo are we talking about? I used to work with Illustrator every day. You just need your logo that's your avatar converted? Do they have a preferred file format, .ai, .pdf?

For relatively simple shapes, I've had decent luck with online converters like Online Image Vectorizer

Else, I'd go on Fiverr and just hire someone to convert it for $5 - $10.

It's my Brooks Cycle logo. .pdf I think is the preferred, but .ai would work, as well.

I can convert from .jpg to .pdf too, not sure about .ai. Have a few applications. Please let me know via PM.

Thanks and good luck.

Converting the jpg to pdf or psd does not make it a vector object just FYI.
