Vegas (15th - 18th or possibly longer) - July 11, 2008, 11:35 AM

Hey all just wondering if anyone here has recommendations for Vegas. It's my first time ever going. I will be working a conference and staying at the Palazzo. I haven't decided on whether or not to extend my stay due to funds but the majority of my trip is company funded so I am just asking....

What are the must see / do things for Vegas.. I know this thread might get jacked up quickly so please try and at least be informative.. plz

Thanks

Luck

You should definitely try and finagle your way into the Hugh Hefner Sky Villa

Okay, well go to Ghostbar, find someone staying in that room, and buy them a drink

I'll be there the 17-21 with some of my boys!

Can't wait!

Tao, Rain, Pure, Rum Jungle, LAX, etc... in the way of clubs.

Spearmint Rhino - strip club.

+ 1 on Ghostbar! Also check out (to eat) Rum Jungle in Mandalay Bay. Excellent food and the world's biggest rum bar. Also, if you're into the club scene, Light is a fun place to go - best DJing/music I've ever heard.

If you can sneak out during the day, go a few miles south to henderson, rent an ATV and hit the desert hills around lake meade... Easily the most fun I had on my vegas trip since i'm not much of a gambler.

this is the place we used, good guys, ignored most of the damage we caused to their atv's

The Palazzo is definitely nice. It's part of the Venetian which is my favorite hotel to stay in. Definitely like it there.

You do have to go to the Ghostbar which was mentioned a few times. It's on the roof of the Palms hotel and has the coolest view of the strip. Certainly worth it. Hard Rock is worth going to as well. Fun place to gamble since the clientele is younger, good music, loads of good looking people

All good suggestions so far...I go there several time a year (I have a timeshare on the strip). PM me with what you want to do and I'll give you the low down.
