First impression: SOLID phone, fast as shit for everything (switching between apps, browser, camera), screen resolution is fantastic. No complaints...yet.

Haven't unlocked the bootloader or anything else yet, but it looks like it will live up to expectations.

From reviews that I've read this phone is pretty bad ass. The only complaint that I've heard is that it feels cheap in your hand. This is coming from an iPhone4 and 4S user and most things feel cheap compared to glass, so I imagine that it is just the materials and weight and not the functions.

There is a way to not show/get rid of the dups. Can't think of how it's done of the top of my head.

FYI, I was just able to order the extended battery/cover from Verizon's website for $25, instead of $50, change shows after it's in your cart. Not sure how or why, but just an FYI if anyone is thinking about it. NOTE: Can't use corporate discount, so don't sign in to your VZW account when trying to get it or else it will be regular price.

Droid 3.....

from what I am told Droid 4 will not have a huge amount more than Droid three. maybe a little more faster Ram, but same dual core processor Oh and 4G networking....that may be the biggest difference. better forward facing camera and a few more. This Droid three is loaded and far surpass my Droid 2.
5th row keyboard is worth it alone.

but when the Droid 4 comes out I will compair the two and see if its worth it.
The Droid 3 is suppose to be able to recieve the Droid 4 OS4.0.... I hear it will be pushed to thephone.

facial recognition unlock sounds like a cool feature...

Been enjoying mine so far. Rooted first night. About to add Google Wallet, updated Wireless Tether, and the Nexus notification sound

I also ordered the extended battery half off last night.

Other than Maps inexplicably not working, I've been very pleased.
