Video Editing software for Linux? - June 25, 2015, 11:57 AM

So I installed OpenShot 1.4.3. Good stuff. Except I can't seem to open the file anywhere except in the app. Can't save it outside the app.

Can't load or show it anywhere and it's almost time to post up the footage except it's 45 minutes long and the guy hitting me happens at around minute 42.

Anybody here using Linux and know of a bit more user-friendly editing app?

Thanks, I'm trying the PiTiVi. I might try Blender too.

I'm not really into making movies (yeah, yeah I know - but editing is a different union from IATSE) so I'm just looking for a cut'n'paste type of thing. The others look good but I think they might have more features and a steeper learning curve than I'm willing to invest in. I'd like to get this out soon. I think it could be useful for riders that have to do more urban time. Also, I've heard what the moto officer had to say about it but I'm interested in reading some non-a**hat evals here.
