Yeah, Vonage is on a death watch. They have never turned a profit so this is probably the end of the company. Verizon will probably buy them for thier customers.

Thats not going to happen. 600,000 Vonage customers are in Verizon territory meaning they have to make a choice to stay with Vonage or move on to a different provider like the Cable giants. Neverthless if the chooses to leave they will lose thier number because Vonage will not release numbers to Verizon. And lastly Vonage is not an IP based VoIP company.
