Yeah, I mean why would anyone care to know what going on in the Nation and the world, how damn boring is that? I mean its not like we're involved in a war thats gone on more than a decade, dealing with a global economic crisis, and watching the a good part of the Islamic world in the throes of uncertain revolutions.

If you want to be educated on policy, economic, and international issues you can do better than spend an hour watching a televised sales pitch and rooting for your team.

I don't think anyone here is contending that the debates are the be-all, end-all of policy knowledge.

I was shaking my head every time Ryan called the building in Benghazi an "embassy." Dude, it's a consulate. And the capital is Tripoli, not Benghazi. Way to be educated, bro.

I thought the moderator's questions about their religion and "what they bring to the table that is unique" were stupid.

I thought she was going to crawl into Biden's lap and debate Ryan herself 2 on 1 style. She couldn't have been less transparent.

I thought the moderator did a decent job actually. Trust me, Im no leftist and I was expecting a hatchet job from this lady who attened Obama's wedding, but I thought she made a credible effort to be balanced. In fact, she put the screws to Biden a couple of times in a surprising manner.

A person can do infinitely better than watching televised anything, IMO.

The way I concluded on this VP debate: I'd hire Ryan to run my corporation before I would Biden.

Now as far as voting is concerned, I simply ask myself one question: What would Bill Maher do? Then I make arrangements to do the exact opposite.

Oh no, Billy Boy! That's right!
I really cannot stand you!!!

I wouldn't hold his feet over the fire on that one.
Don't our consulates end up being defactor Embassy's in countries were we do not have an official Embassy.

Bill's mouth dribble is pretty entertaining though.

You are right. I would much rather have the administration that was busy claiming this was the result of a video, apologizing for a video, and actively participating in a cover up as opposed to the guy that got embassy and consulate interchanged.

I thought she was terrible and largely one sided.

By the way, Obama went to her wedding, not the other way around.

I can't wait for the bad lip reading version of the VP debate - then I'll actually have watched ~3 minutes of it. I'm not interested in watching the debates or listening to the news because 99% is based in opinion, conjecture, emotion, or just-made-it-up nonsense. Until I stop hearing reporters say things like, "well I think...I believe that...it's probable that..." and when people start using actual logic and reason when going into a debate rather than doing their darndest to be B movie actors, then maybe I'll start being interested.

In the meantime...enjoy:
