Wachovia to Well Fargo Pop Cockery - October 5, 2011, 01:38 PM

So I just got this email from Wachovia stating that Wells Fargo bill pay is different. The difference is that Wells will pull the money from your account up to 5 days in advance of the date you set to have it paid. WHY they hell use Bill Pay then. Like others. I know I am getting direct deposit so I set up the bill to be paid lets say Friday morning... You going to pull the money on Monday...defeats the purpose.

Doesn't matter o me because I am with PNC now but just for you new Wells people.

Haven't you been paying attention?
Banks get to do what they want.
Have a date set-up with them to automatically withdraw funds? No, fuck you - they'll withdraw them whenever they damn well want.

Got a wife or girlfriend? They get to fuck them at will too.

I remember when consumer banks appreciated your business. They would pay and incentivize you for keeping your accounts with them, but now that's all changed.

While technology brought their operating costs down and Congress tightened up on some of the dirty tricks and exploitative fees they charged consumers in the past, their response and "product innovation" was to try to figure out new ways to extract more fees or higher charges from consumers for the same old services. Or trap you into programs that favorably bias them and even penalize you for their mistakes - which you have to uncover and then FIGHT with them to correct.

Small Credit unions for starters.

The branch argument is silly. I've had Usaa for several years now. Name one thing you need a branch to do? Protip... they have partner locations where you can deposit cash. Any other functions can be done without a branch

Perhaps you don't following banking and finance, but the amount of consolidation, buyouts, and banks that have lost their charter or been shut down by the FDIC is astounding.

Nothing like this has ever been seen.

Take a look at the FDIC's failed bank list.

Right here!!!

They are the shit. Great (UI), thats User Interface for you non computer people. Pull money from whatever bank I want with no charge. All my accounts gain interest. I have Virtual Wallet with Performance. As long as you direct deposit at least 1000 or 750 if you company has a deal with them and you get all the perks. Good android/apple app. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I mean I call and get stuff handled immediately, as well as I go to the Centreville and Herndon offices and the people are excellent.

Amazing! Look at how many federally insured small credit unions are NOT on the failed banks list!

If people continue to do business with fucktards, they deserve what they get.

It's EASY to find a financial institution that isn't engaging in shady business practices. Easy
