Wakefield MTB - today (4/16) around 4pm - April 16, 2010, 07:22 AM

Heading over to Wakefield today after work for my first ride of the year. I've been too lazy to pedal so far.

If anyone wants to meet up, let me know. If not, I'm cool with riding solo, too.

I haven't been to difficult run yet. I live in southern MD, so I'm trying to keep it close for the weekdays...

I might be out there next Friday too. This was just kinda spur of the moment...threw the bike in the car this morning instead of riding in. Figured I'd post up in case anyone was interested. I guess I'm just trying not to stay on the DR all summer and turn into a fatass

Bakers Dozen was a blast - rode it the year before last. Somewhere I have a string of pics as I eat shit off the rock drop on my 5th lap. What team are you riding with? We might go check it out.

Are you a MORE member?

What kind of shape where the trails in? I'm going to try to ride Wakefield at least once a week this summer...

I only rode most of the powerline section and down by the stream, but they seemed fine. There were a few places where trees had fallen across the trail, but they were cut out for access. Some parts seemed a little rockier or had more exposed roots where the dirt had eroded, but it's not bad.
