Watch your gas... - June 26, 2006, 07:43 AM

Yesterday as I was about to pump gas into my car... I noticed my gas tank door would not open. You lift the lever- it pops open. Simple.

Well... I noticed that there were pry marks and paint missing around my gas tank door.
Funny thing is...they didn't get anything...they just messed up my door...and now I can't GET IN unless I hold the lever and someone pushes the door on the opposite side of where it opens.

I say again...I hate people.
Just wanted to give the HEADS UP PEOPLE... this crap does happen....

Wow. Just..................wow.

Darwin has a lot of catching up to do.

I'm sorry to hear that other people's moronic acts have fallen upon you. It is shit like that, that keeps me from owning a firearm. As, I'd probably be in jail on manslaughter charges by now.

On a helpful note, you might be able to bend the hinge back in order to get it to operate correctly. It sounds like the latch has been pulled too far out to "slip" past when the lever is pulled. Might be an easy fix.
