Great pics, Speed!

Here's Jack & Daphne. Jack's about 6.5 and a rescue. Daphne's about 5.5 months, also a rescue.






And this is Jill, unfortunately we had to put her down last April due to cancer. We miss her dearly.

Just like your other dominant breeds...hard headed. His instinct to chase is almost uncontrollable; whether it is kids running, deer, he snatched a baby rabbit once, house cat, etc. He is protective, very much so with my wife...more than I imagined.

Great dog though, couch potatoe in the house, he sleeps in our bed every night. I would certainly get another.

You must have gotten a bad seed. Usually outside of the ridiculous over enhanced chase, run instinct - they're pretty much couch potatoes.
