Wedding Pix (56K warning) - November 22, 2006, 08:42 AM

Just a small example of over 300 digital pix taken before, during and after the wedding.

Just thought i'd share. I'll start a seperate thread on the honeymoon pix.

The weather in Panama City Beach was absolutely perfect. It was 69 degrees with a very slight wind. The water had turned so still that day that there was almost no waves crashing on the shore. It was weird, the night before, i could hear the waves to lull me to sleep. That day it was like a large pond with barely a ripple. One comment made by the wedding coordinater was that they havnt seen the water that blue and that still since moving there over 10 years ago.

Good sign i guess. In short, the whole thing went perfect. Exactly what we wanted. Small ceremoney on the beach, lots of family at the cool beach house and eating and drinking.

Pix say it better:
(walking down the beach, i checked on the setup of the ceremoney spot. The pic was taken by my uncle from the beach house we are staying at. In the far left is where you can see the area being set up.)

(fam walking with me to the beach site while lisa is finishing getting ready)

(family/friends walking to the site. The ONLY mess up was this small area. The sand Bur's got stuck to MANY bare feet and HURT like a MF'er. Lisa got some stuck in her dress and on her feet. There are many pix of me and other folks picking the burs out. Holy crap they hurt!)

(wedding site)

(filled up)

(parents walking me down)

(best man and my sister as the maid of honor)

(ok so..... I was so captivated on how Lisa looked that I TOTALLY was not listening to the pastor. It was so quick into saying the I DO part that, i didnt realize I was up. So there was a very LOOOOONG pause waiting for me. The crowd clued me in and i did an embarassing loud "I DO!!!" to then have everyone laugh. This pic captures everyone lauging at me. DOH!
In all honesty, i have never seen Lisa look that beautiful!)

(my sis looking spectacular as she always does. She used to model when she was younger. Can you tell?)

(her ring)

(my ring)

(kiss)

(Mr and Mrs)

(conclusion of the ceremoney was for everyone to throw shells to the sea as an offering)

(ok lots of cheese time)

(I like CAKE!)

Whew!! These are only a SMALL listing of all the pix we have. haha

Stay tuned for the Tahiti pix!!!

Thanks Dave.

No kidding. I was very strict about telling everyone that we wanted a relaxed setting. Beach shirts and NO SHOES!!

Its a beach wedding for crying out loud!

Men are qualified for civil liberties in exact proportion to their disposition to put moral chains upon their appetites: in proportion as their love of justice is above their rapacity...Society cannot exist, unless a controlling power upon will and appetite be placed somewhere; and the less of it there is within, the more there must be without. Seriously folks. It is YOUR wedding. Lisa and I wanted OUR wedding, not what anyone else wanted. We felt the ceremony wasnt the only thing this was about. It was about us, our family, and what we wanted.
