Wedding Proposal Idea's ??? HELP!!!!! - March 14, 2006, 09:12 AM

Ok so me and the little lady are serious and I am ready to jump in to marriage I know what you guys are saying im to young!!! But I know I want to be with her. Ok so I need some ideas for a proposal I would like to do it local and I want to throw her off, B/C if we get all dressed up she will know whats going on. I was trying to do a Washington Odessey Boat cruise but again dressed up. I would like to do something romantic that she will never forget.

Thanks!!!!! David

Show her this thread. I guarantee she won't forget

It needs to come from inside you and be your idea for it to have meaning and be special. Remember, you want to remember the moment too. I have been married almost 22 years and I still remember it.

Only you truly know what is special and has meaning to the both of you. Get your ass off of this board and use your noggin!

Just my $.02

This is how I proposed...
After a day at Six Flaggs we went to buddies house that has a lake by it. It was a full moon so I was like "why dont we go for a night stroll" We went to the lake and stood on a dock, across the lake I had a friend light up road flares in teh shape of a heart...while she was staring at the "kids messing with fire" I dropped to a knee and asked for her hand in marriage. My frinds also had a nigh scope, and as soon as they saw me put the rind on her finger we had a fireworks show...we went to PA, Phantom Fireworks and spent like $400. It was worth it. Nothing over the top but she liked it. And she had NO CLUE. Also when we went back to my friends house our famly and friends were there waiting to celebrate.
