Wednesday April 22nd Is Administrative Professional's Day! - April 21, 2009, 06:57 PM

For those of you that work in situations where you have an assistant or a support staff team that helps you out in the day to day functions of your job, won't you please take the time to remember those folks on this day? In this volatile & uncertain time in our history, where a lot of peoples firms are cutting job's and furloughing people, it is more important than ever to make people feel needed and appreciated. Even the smallest token of gratitude can make a world of difference to people constantly looking over their shoulder for the HR person coming down the hall, or being called in by the boss. Perhaps a cup of coffee, a card, a thing of candy, etc. It doesn't have to be expensive, just filled with thought and an expression of your appreciation and gratitude for what they do.

I know not all of you are being effected by this crazy economy at work, and I expect some wise cracks towards this thread. That's fine. Have at it. I know it is a motorcycle site, I get it, but for those of you that are in the situations I have described presently, you know exactly what I am talking about

Happy Administrative Professional's Day!

Every time we hold our tongues instead of returning the sharp retort, show patience with another's faults, show a little more love and kindness, we are helping to stock-pile more of these peace-bringing qualities in the world instead of armaments for war. -- Constance Foster

Hey, that's me!
Administrative Professional is so nice. I always refer to it as "office bitch."
