Jersey City actually has some really nice and expensive parts. I just got married there in July (I'm not from there but my wife is from Jersey). And, ya, you must not have been to DC yet, because I see at least one of those stripped down bicycles in every neighborhood in DC.

Tru... I dated a chick from Jersey City and yes parts were nice and some parts were straight up Ghetto, the only nice areas were along the waterfront and by the towards the tunnel, other then that it was a straight up dirty, kinda similar to BMORE.

Even their medical center on Grand was pretty much like DC General back in the day.

Jersey City recently (like the last decade) went through urban renew and parts got nicer when many of the Wall St. firms moved their back office operations into the area from West New York and Manhattan.

If you drive through certain parts you can tell it's like they planted a rose garden in the middle of a trash dump.

Congrats on the marriage. Same girl who was at your place when I picked up the TV?
Good choice.
