What gift are you hoping to get for Christmas this year? - December 4, 2007, 11:52 AM

It is the holiday season once again, and time to put aside the "Drama fo yo Mama" mentality for a couple of weeks and get that Holiday Spirit going

Last year I asked for an essay that showed who had the most holiday spirit. Yet another on of my AWFUL ideas that failed miserably. Oh well. Live and learn

This year I thought I would keep is simple. I think it would be fun, if not interesting to know what people on the site are hoping to get for Christmas (or Hannukah, or Kwanza..what ever you celebrate this time of year).

Let's keep it to the topic. Please don't say "Peace on Earth"..This isn't a beauty pageant and it ain't gonna happen. Hoooter Girls...I don't think so. I mean real gifts you are hoping to REALLY get.

I am hoping for a new Canon 5D camera so I can expand my photography horizons. I also have asked for books on portrait photography as well as the old James Bond Movies on DVD.

Ok....now what are you hoping to see under your tree this year?

6 numbers including the Mega ball.

Realistically though... a 6 spoke 17" stock aluminum alloy yukon denali rim. Center cap/lugs need not be included.

Not things I'm hoping to actually get, but things that are on my wish list:
-Heated winter gear
-A new pool cue (apparently riding the bike to pool isn't always a good idea.. it may rain on the way home).
-A reliable renter
-New tires for the car (and a new suspension)

In actuality, I'm getting a plane ticket to go to NM to see my brother (that's good enough for me)!

Hoping to get my clearance so I can start working with CBP and catch some of my people trying to cross the border.

Hoping to have my race bike painted, and finished with all its new parts that have been ordered.

Hoping that my gf's dog stops barking and acting like shes a pitbull.

My luck runs out this year, this year was the year of the boar.

A roadbike, some swimming lessons, and an I tunes gift card. I tackled a Marathon this year, so my upcoming new years resolution is going to be finishing a triathalon.

You can find that one next to Santa Clause, the Easter Bunny and Lepperchauns.

hey, I'm with ya on the roadbike and swim lessons. I'm going to try working on my swimming on my own though. I want to finish a triathalon this year, I've done 6 marathons and 5 or 6 half marathons...I'm done with the distance.

Other than the bike, I'd like a 42' flat screen HDTV, a new couch, and a nice wood coffee table

I did this years MCM and I'm signed up for their 1st annual half marathon in May. Ive tried working on my swimming on my own, but I just lack the finesse. I'm gonna do a triathalon and then hopefully an ironman the following year.
