What kind of beer do you prefer? - October 5, 2008, 08:26 PM

At Bloom, you can make your own 6 pack out of what they have in that little section. I have been trying some different beers lately and I like alot of the different flavors instead of the old standby, Bud Light. My favorite ones so far are Modelo Especial and the Dominion Oktoberfest. Are there any other good beers out there that I should try?

I do love me some Guinness.

Try Magic Hat #9
Its good stuff. Definitely tastes different out of a bottle or on tap, either way its good.

Described as...
A sort of dry, crisp, fruity, refreshing, not-quite pale ale. #9 is really impossible to describe because there's never been anything else quite like it. Our secret ingredient introduces a most unusual aroma which is balanced with residual sweetness.

One of my favorite "if I'm only buying one"-beers is Delirium Nocturnum

8.5% ABV and comes in a 25oz bottle. Dark, yet smooth and a little fruity.

If your ever out in Vienna stop by Norms Beer and Wine across from the Giant. That place is awesome and staffed by some real knowledgeable guys who will even let you sample in the store sometimes.
