What wil it take to bring the troops home - April 26, 2007, 11:48 AM

I know this topic has been dicussed and dicussed but what will it take to bring the troops home. If every solution starts of with the Iraq's have to do this: .............etc. Than how much time do we give them? Six months after the war with Iraq we won. So far with have given the Iraqs close to 5 years to get there act together. Our troops are no longer fighting a war they are playing police to different tribes who have hated each other for centuries.

My question is:

Are we going to leave our troops in Iraq long enough, hoping for things to get better so that a Replican president has a chance to win the election or are we leaving the troops in Iraq because of PRIDE, unreasonable and inordinate self-esteem (personified as one of the deadly sins), because our leaders do not want to admit we failed in Iraq.

Wether we pull out now or 5years from now These tribes have waited this long to fight each other they will just wait another five years and start back up. You can not fight HATRED, OUR ACTIVIST HERE HAVE PROVEN THAT. It is time for us to move on and let the hatches fall where they may. This is a problem only the Iraq's can solve.

A recognition that sometimes America doesn't win.

See Vietnam.

Hmmm How long ago was World War II. Ummm We still have troops in Europe mainly in Germany. How long ago was the Korean war? Which technically we are still at war with?

To do something right Takes time. To do it half assed or a shitty job quickest time possible.
