Smile Who has there MCSE 2003 Cert? - November 7, 2006, 05:10 PM

I am looking to go after the MCSE 2003 Certification this winter and wanted some advice from those on the board who have this certification what helped you the most?

Also looking to see if anyone has any textbook recommendations. I've always read most of Mike Meyers books for most of my certifications.

I want to get this done ASAP as I get a $5,000 bonus at work for getting this done. Ca-Ching!

I'm looking to getting this, hopefully before my contract ends. Any info would be appreciated. Anyone know of a good bootcamp or whatever, I suck at home study.

Anyone know of any classes for MCSA/MCSE 2003 in the NoVA area?. I already have my MCP and MCDST but have no motivation to open up the books for 70-290 and 70-291. I got through most of 290 but it's easy to get away from and take the pratice tests.

I might just want to buy the books and just study from them as $6k is a bit steep for me!

I got CCNA at a place in Arlington called Global Knowledge. Its on Wilson Blvd. They offer MSCE classes and bootcamps also. Never taken MS class there before but their Cisco courses and labs are real good.

By far the best. Instructor teaches new microsoft employees, as well as knows the nerds that create the tests.

I used these guys for my MCDST and PMP. Not a bad facility and they were good. Their MCSE looks a wee bit pricey, though...
