Had to look that one up, Heist.

15 year old died around 1pm. They say they know 2 of the suspects, they are still trying to find the third.

Although Sterling Park has gotten better over the years, it's like the land that time forgot in Loudoun County. *sigh

Yeah.. the last shooting i'm aware of was 10 years ago in providence village. Morons shot up the wrong house too. I still own the property in that neighborhood and it has definitely gotten better but anyone around isn't surprised this happened in that neighborhood. That's the low rent district..

I laugh when I hear people talk about how sterling/herndon and other parts of NoVA are bad. Just because you have low income families and neighborhoods that aren't as nice as Ashburn does not mean that area is bad.

1 shooting every few years is nothing. DC alone even now makes NoVA look like the most peaceful place to live and I'm referring to DC now. Not DC back in the Chocolate City/ 80s crack era.

MS13 vs 18th St. Guy in 18th was living in MS hood, Pembrook.

Quote:
A 17-year-old and two adults have been charged in connection with the September 4th homicide of Danny Centeno-Miranda, 17, a student at Park View High School.

The juvenile suspect, a 17-year-old from Sterling, is charged with 2nd degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. His name cannot be released at this time due to the fact he is a juvenile.

Two other suspects, Henry Ernesto Dominguez Vasquez, 20, and Juan Moises Aguirre Zelaya, 18, both of Sterling, have been charged with possession of a firearm by a person who is not a citizen of the United States and accessory after the fact.

Vasquez and Zelaya are both held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center. The 17-year-old is currently being held at the Juvenile Detention Center.

Detectives with the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office worked throughout the day on September 4th and overnight conducting numerous interviews and following up on all leads. Detectives were able to identify and locate the three suspects and take them into custody.

Several search warrants were issued and conducted during the course of the investigation and a firearm believed to be used in the shooting was recovered.

Loudoun detectives worked in conjunction with the Virginia State Police, the Office of the Loudoun Commonwealth’s Attorney, Loudoun County Public Schools and the Northern Virginia Gang Task Force during the course of the investigation.

Loudoun Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the area of E. Cornell Drive and N. Duke Drive in Sterling shortly before 8:30AM on September 4th for the report of multiple gunshots fired. Deputies located a teenaged male victim. The victim was taken to an area hospital where he passed away due to his injuries.

The circumstances of the shooting remain under investigation and further arrests are possible in the case.

Same M.O. in the shooting I mentioned.

I'm just glad they carried it out the way they did. Better than shooting up a party etc. No innocent people were affected with this one.
