Who listens to music at work? What you listening to now?

My office is a freaking club....my boss always says he is gonna get me disco ball but I tell him don't bother unless he gonna throw in a light system also.

Just listened to Deee-lite's Dewdrops In The Garden....funky house trip hop.

Listening to DJ Dara Full Circle.....D&B.

Thinking I may have a dance off with myself......

(ok so obviously I don't want to work today)

it's seriously one of my 'take 10 cds with you on a desert island' cd. i saw your sig - i was singing it in my head when i read it

now it's pulley:
call me stupid call me crazy call me what you will
i don't write this music with intent to pay my bills
cookie cutout cardboard bands and we all sound the same
guess i'm just a hypocrite for living out my dreams
may not make a difference not trying to make you see
may not make no sense but know it does to me

I have to have music playing. It's deathly quiet when I don't and I can't concentrate. It's funny walking on my floor. You got alternative/punk coming from my office, and other people screaming as they play Counterstrike.

www.3wk.com I find most of my new music by listening to this. I wish musicchoice streamed there alternative station cause I listen to it all the time at home.

Epitaph has streaming music on their site. It's what I listen to when 3wk is down. Punk-o-rama 3 and 5 were the best ones.

I've got some obnoxious wind chimes on the deck right outside my window, does that count?

Yeah, I'd expect it at a .com or a small company, but I work for General Dynamics. Can't get much more corporate. But then again all the other GD offices hate us in Rosslyn. They call us spoiled...

Just cause we each get our own office, work our own hours, dress how we want, and throw parties and bbq's all summer with our own margarita machines does not make us spoiled.

Speaking of which, i just got this email for team building in my office:

Quote:
Is anyone interested in participating in a GD “team building” exercise? My idea is to leave work @ noon tomorrow to go see the 12:50pm show of “Kill Bill Vol. 2” in Georgetown. You will be back in GD’s warm bosom by 3:15pm.
I love my job.
