So I sit here, in front of my dual monitor set up, wishing I could be outside, or anywhere else but here. I can see my bike in the parkinglot across the street, so lonesome, so vulnerable. I want to run to it and cradle it in my arms... and then I remember its a machine and not a man... and although either one would cover me in grease if I cradled it, I'd be more likely to spill engine oil everywhere with the bike.
So I'll content myself to sit here and stare at it. Wondering to myself what on earth makes people think they can put more than one cd into a cd drive at a time, and how did I end up in Tech support anyway when I was a Theater major. But then as the sun sets lower in the sky the last rays hit my beautiful silver paint job, making the tank gleam in the failing daylight, and my thoughts shift to this coming weekend, and the rides I'm sure to go on. For a moment, despite the grinding noise coming from my client's cd drive and the loud beeping noise coming from the office microwave, (I think I put foil in there, and it might be on fire), I am winding my way down backroads, feeling the wind lift my spirit high until I am racing along side the bike...aaaahhhhhhhhhhh.....

Damn Users.
