I can think of far worst occupations' striking, than script jockies.
Taxi drivers, Smoke Eaters, police officers... Mexican-Americans.
The last one, being 1 of the worst. They are usually the ones doing the most amount of work, for the least amount of pay. DAMN white-trash.

Shit, $10 for a apple. What do you think its going to cost to get your grass cut? Better yet, to play a round of golf?

the writers strike is like the hockey strike a few years ago. no one will notice, then they will come back, and still, no one will notice. and this is coming from a hockey fan.

I hope writers stay on strike for a while. I hate TV, and I wish people would stop wasting 3 or 4 hours of their day watching it.

I don't watch enough TV to give a fuck. As long as Prison Break and K-Ville are not effected I couldn't care less.

God Speed Jeff! You'll never be forgotten.

THE UFC AND CBS ARE DISCUSSING PRIME TIME NETWORK FIGHT SPECIALS
By Matt Goldstein and Jim Barlieb

Is the Writers Strike Fueling Talks?

The Los Angeles Times has reported that the UFC and CBS are discussing multiple prime time network fight specials. This would be a major marketing move by the UFC which has championed the use of basic cable in fueling their PPV sales. There is no telling the impact that network TV could have on MMA. Earlier this year, Star Boxing was in negotiations with ABC to air an Antonio Tarver Lightheavyweight fight but those plans fell through when the appropriate advertising could not be secured. According to MMA Fightline, the writers strike is fueling the talks between the UFC and CBS because the network needs unscripted prime time programming. Source: MMA Fightline and LA Times
