Xbox One Cable Box Question - June 28, 2013, 12:19 PM

I have a question.

Since the only connection between the xbox one and the cable box is hdmi, can the hdmi connection be used to transmit signals to the cable box?

If not that means the xbox one will have to transmit to the cable box using IR and just display what the cable box sends it.

cannot tell if this is spam...?

Why are you asking questions about a console that isn't released yet? Doubtful anyone knows for sure.

If I had to guess, it would support HDMI-CEC for receivers that support that, and IR for fallback for those that don't.
