You meet some really awesome people on this site! - January 14, 2010, 09:22 AM

Over the last couple months I have been helped out a great deal from some people on this site.

Last week a member gave me a Pitbull front stand for my bike for no other reason than because we are friends and he didnt need it anymore. He could have easily sold it but no he just handed it over. Thank you!

I made a post a few weeks ago that I needed a job and the help poured in. I got a phone call from a company with in 30 min of making that post. It didnt work out but still it happened. I got lists and lists from people that knew people that were hiring. Thank You

I bought a gun a couple weeks ago and another member invited me over to his house to show me how to clean it and service it. While we were doing it he found a bent part and gave me an extra one he had laying around. Thank you

I dont even have to go into detail about the Underwear ride and the massive amount of support that everybody has shown. But two women who work their butts on a daily basis stepped up big time and really made this ride happen. THNAK YOU

Say what you want about the drama but this place is filled with AWESOME people that will give you the shirt off their back with out asking a question about it.

I really dont know why I made this post other than to point out the fact that you should never take stuff for granted.

Don't forget to use the Hooters wing party I graciously donated to you. I think it expires the beginning of February.

I think people are inherently good.

True man, for the most part bikers in general help out so much with stuff. I also find the ones who actualy hit the social gatherings, events or maybe just track monkeys are some of the more genuine ones.

You will always have drama, but time and time again everyone will work thru the bullchit.

I use to Lurk in 04, officialy rejoined in 06, and started posting summer/spring of 09. Since then I have met sooooo many more new cool peps got re-aquainted with some of the old schoolers and I have been having a blast every since.

This is the very reason I agreed to be a mod several years ago (my original answer was no) and why I keep coming back. A testament to some things never changing.

good post Dan - wanna come over to my house and show me how to clean my gun?

Awwwww, thank you Von. You continue to profess your love for me week after week, and I continue to get all warm and fuzzy because of it!

Good thoughts, Nubbs, especially in light of recent drama that continued to pit the same old people against one another. For every bad apple, there is a whole tree full of good ones.

Slow: Well, that was a bad idea because jamming the turd back in caused the gas behind it to back up and just about the time I went in for what probably would have been the thrust that got the turd out of my way, the gas exploded. It shot my dick and the turd out like a rocket. Now, if getting your dick explosively expelled from your chick's ass and then getting hit in the gut with a flying turd doesn't make your dick soft, you're a better man than I am.

I feel the exact same way about the automotive community as well. It's really nice to find out there are indeed a lot of genuinely nice and good people out there, in a world so full or il-intent and hatred. Thanks for sharing Dan!
