Are You Old Enough To Remember This Movie? - August 2, 2010, 07:29 PM

“Any man who tries to be good all the time is bound to come to ruin among the great number who are not good. Hence a Prince who wants to keep his authority must learn how not to be good, and use that knowledge, or refrain from using it, as necessity requires”.

Ethan Hawk and River Phoenix

Damn! Who would have thought Ethan would still be around and River would be toast back then.

Had River lived he would have been today's Leonardo DiCaprio.

Probably bigger than Leo though it's hard to argue with the inception performance. WTF happened to his brother? He was great in Walk The Line then nothing.

What kind of sick movie makes kids scared of ice cream trucks? And what semi-truck drives with a huge joker head on it?

River wouldn't have taken the movie rolls that made Leo big, mostly "Titanic." Could you see River signing on to "Titanic"? No way.

I think that Johnny Depp is a better comparison. A teen idol type who went into a ton of indie movies and then had his pick of big roles that still had some sort of eccentric depth to them. And I definitely could see River acting in Tim Burton's movies, like Depp tends to do...

This movie scarred the crap out of me when I was a kid because it would come on TBS late at night. Now it is just funny.

This movie changed my life...I fucking HATED that kid and his stupid power glove tho. He thought he was such a bad ass, but the wizard schooled him in the end. Also, first look at Mario 3...are you kidding me right now?

Classic movie!
