Your Help is Needed - December 9, 2009, 03:38 PM

Hey everyone,

As we all know, this winter will likely be a cold, snowy one. As we also know, the DC metro area's homeless don't usually have the luxury of having a warm, dry place to sleep. In an effort to help those less fortunate, I'm organizing a small clothing drive, and would appreciate any extra clothes you or your family don't plan on wearing this season. Men's items are usually the most needed, but anything you or your family could provide would be tremendously helpful. If you would rather make a monetary donation, I'll make sure that we stock up on the most needed items: socks, sweaters, and blankets and I'll attach your name along with the donation.

I'll even pick the items up from you to save you a trip. I'm sure each of us has a few items we can part with for the sake of helping someone less fortunate.

Thanks for your help!

My Family is doing this for Christmas. We are delivering Clothes and Home made food to the homeless in DC.. Not going through any orgs or anything but going out there and straight to the people themselves.

Marc, I can probably bring a few things tonight if you're driving.

R.I.P. JEFF VEGA

Slow: Well, that was a bad idea because jamming the turd back in caused the gas behind it to back up and just about the time I went in for what probably would have been the thrust that got the turd out of my way, the gas exploded. It shot my dick and the turd out like a rocket. Now, if getting your dick explosively expelled from your chick's ass and then getting hit in the gut with a flying turd doesn't make your dick soft, you're a better man than I am.

Awesome, I'm in VA all the time so why don't we plan on Monday night if that gives you enough time? If not, no problem at all. Let me know and we can work something else out. PM on the way with my digits.

That's what we did last year, short of the food. Dropped a lot of stuff off at the park on K St and 15th then drove around with what we had left over and handed them out. Homeless shelters need the clothes also. By the way, if you're interested in joining up and heading out there together, let me know.

I am definitely in for doing this, I have some clothes to donate and would like to help out in distributing them as well. There are going to be a couple of homeless people sporting some pretty pimp snowboard jackets this winter! Hey at least it will keep them warm! PM me some more info and I will send my number as well.
