07 R6 Rear Lights not working - August 22, 2009, 10:57 AM

Okay, so I installed a rumble concepts fender eliminator. Everything worked fine.....break light, blinkers, etc. It has been fine for about 2 months. Go out of town for work for two weeks, come back and I got problems.

The front and rear blinkers no longer blink..the front lights up but no blinking when I hit the make with the blinking button. The rear break light comes on all nice and red while the bike is on but when I apply the brakes nothin. Also, the blinker lights on the instrument panel are not working but the light for neutral is.

Now before you say read the f@#@$'in manual I just moved so finding it is a little hard right now, hence my appeal to the internet guru's!!!

So, am I looking at a blown fuse or something else or am I just an idiot?

Check the connections to make sure that the connection to the board on the tail light hasn't come loose somehow....

+1, my connector had a habit of coming loose and it would mess everything else up.

Make sure a bulb isn't blown. A blown bulb will throw off the resisitors and make things all zany.
