Angry 954 front end. help!!! - October 8, 2008, 10:57 PM

i pulled the 954 front off of my f4i to polish the wheel and rebuild a fork. im putting it back together and am pretty sure of the order of the axle bolt, collar, wheel, collar and axle, but decided to double check online. i found some schematics on bike bandit and the are showing something different.
- if your looking at the front they say it should be bolt, collar with the lip (bigger side touching the fork/smaller the wheel), wheel, collar and axle. i tried this and the spacing is off. the right side caliper wont fit.
- i had it bolt, collar, wheel, collar with lip (same as before), and axle. seems to work that way (and i think that was the way it was) but on paper it says it was wrong.
any help?? thanks

If you are standing in front of the bike it goes as follows :

Axel Bolt
Fork Leg
Spacer w/large lip
Wheel
Spacer w/small lip
Fork Leg

If you need pics let me know.

I wonder if the fact that you have it on an F4i changes things. Is it truly a complete 954 front end?

Judging by the way he stated it, sounds like it was already on there...
