any ECM/ECU test or repair shop around? - June 14, 2011, 12:20 PM

2007 honda cbr 600rr does not start (fuel pump does not prime when i turn the ignition).

i took it to manassas honda a few weeks ago and they said the connector to the ECU was dirty and there was also a bent pin. they corrected those issues. ran great ... for two weeks.

same problem is back and now i'm told the ECU/ECM will need to be replaced.

anyone know if there is a shop that tests these things before i go dropping the dough for a new or one that has been parted out?

I had the same problem but wasn't the ECU. Mine was an issue with the ignition switch. You anywhere near Fairfax? You could borrow my ECU for testing but would need it back before this weekend.
