Angry Bike Handling/turning problem - May 19, 2009, 08:42 AM

I am having a hard time turn/leaning right on my bike. I have to try really had to make it turn right for some reason, but turning left is a breeze. There's def. something wrong here. I am not sure if this could be related to some fork issue...

I ride a k1 gsxr 600... Any advice? or suggestions where to take it to get it checked. I do the simple stuff like oil change etc my self, but have no idea about the more technical things...

All advice is appreciated

Crash history? Tip overs?

Is anything rubbing in the front end? Check the bolts on the triple tree, and your fork height.

Have you had anyone else ride the bike and note this issue or just yourself?

Reminds me of a story.. guy on the FZ1 forum posted up.. that he was going down the highway.. and his steering damper locked like 2-3 degree's off center or something.

So he basically started drifting, @ 70mph, across the highway.

He didn't crash.. lucky SOB

*sigh*

I got this bike in Aug 08, I never dropped it, but the previous owner did... I never had this problem last year though, just started noticing it. I had a few other beginner riders ride it as well, they found it really hard to handle... but yea I gotta get it checked out soon.

Yea, I am gonna do that later today... I didnt think it would be air pressure since its effecting turning right only, then again I have no idea...

Thanks for the advice, hopefully its nothing major.

What tires do you use? How many miles on them? What air pressure do you run?
