Differences between steering dampeners - September 15, 2007, 03:56 PM

IS there a big difference between rotary type steering dampeners and the other that mounts across the triple clamp? I have a scotts on my 636 (which is a rotary) but I wanted to use the steering nut for accessories (ram mounts has a mounting bolt that uses the hole in the steering nut). I was planning to buy another dampener but WHY if I can swap between and the only thing I need is a new mount"?

Yeah, I was reading on the site that it really isnt very safe. Plus, without that machine to take out all that air, your running a risk!
