What dealer did you take it to? I would find another dealer to check it out.. It is on for a reason. There is way to pull the codes your self and then w/ a shop manual you can see what the issue is. Are you having any drivability issues? What other than the light is the bike doing? What mods have you done? Some mods will trip some of the sensors and then trip the light.

MissS:no now!!!

Also - has the bike been stunted or downed lately? You can trip the FI light with the tip over sensor.

!?!?! FI Light.. 9 times out of 10 = adjust your exhaust butterfly valve cables (i.e. on the right hand side, just infront of the butterfly valve motor)

www.gixxer.com gives you step by step instructions...

nothing to worry about... nothing at all... UNLESS it's throwing a code as well (i.e. C01 or c04 etc.)

find out what the code is that it is throwing. Remove your seat, there should be a plug that will be covered, you will need a paperclip, then turn key to on position. It will then show you the code on the cluster.

I would download the service manual

http://rapidshare.com/files/12145854/GSX-R600-750K6.pdf

and they have a detailed S.E.T valve adjustments.

Most likely yours is not broken and they will charge you to adjust it but do it youself and things should be fine, of course most will say remove all that junk and locked the valve wide open and then cut the s.e.t ecu wire and no more F.I light.
