Getting off-brand tire warmers fixed - August 27, 2011, 12:13 PM

I know its probably not worth it but it's worth asking.

I have a set of Krosswerx tire warmers that need to be fixed. These are going to be my backup set. Does anyone fix these things?! Any ideas?

I have a set of those too - why not just contact the vendor that sells them?

Is it Annush? The guy seems to be out of town a lot. I e-mailed him and even sent him pics of the problem. He told me that his people said that it appears to be "misuse." As in, taking the bike off the stands while the warmers were still on the tire. (now why the F* would I do that) but his people need to inspect them more closely. I assured him that it wasnt the case. The warmers get either hung up or draped over something to make sure they dont fry. SO twice, I emailed him asking him to give me an address and I will mail them to him..no response. I bought a pair of Suzuka's...

He also offered me a set at a discounted price but I told him that I was cautious about buying another set since these fried within a couple months..

I knew Anush before he started selling tire warmers. He moved back home to India, used to work at Fannie Mae. I'll give you all his contact info that I have. All because his name somewhat got out there he is now treating his customers different.

Anush email: canush@hotmail.com or anush_x_cherian@fanniemae.com
From Anush "abraham at 202 285 9262" supposedly this guy is his DC contact.

I had them fixed about 2007 and they have been great every since. The thermostate was off and tires never got much more than warm at best.
