Do you have top-end noise, chatter or any reason to suspect the cam chain is loose?

It'll make a noise that sounds like a marble is bouncing all around the cams. How many miles are on the bike?

Listen to the top of the motor while running. Listen to both sides. If there is a louder noise, as in much louder due to chain slack, on the right side then yes it should be replaced. I assume it has over 16,000 miles? Also when was your last valve adjustment? It is rare for a honda to have this problem. Also you might want to measure the chain. There is a spec over a certain amount of pins.
