I got almost 15K miles our of an RK chain and vortex sprockets, 520. Sprockets were still good, chain just stretched to its limit.

stock, replaced just recently at 27k but could've gone past 30k

replaced with -1 front steel and stock chain size... Not concerned about weight.

Well I just turned 6k miles. There has yet to be any adjustment needed and there is no visible wear yet. All stock stuff.

I think I had about 18,000 on my stock chain I was getting hot spots, which meant only certain links were stretching

So I put a 520 with Renthal Sprockets -1 in the front

I have 37,000 miles now and I had to adjust my chain quite a bit yesterday and it is still kinda loose so it might be time for a new chain soon, it seems like the whole thing is stretching

But I might keep the sprockets on there

only going to tell it like it is....

that chain was the loosest chain I've ever seen. Even a new chain isn't that loose when putting it on before adjusting it. It's definitely stretched out.

It's up to you to replace the sprockets. That's your call.
