Lights ON/Lights OFF - June 28, 2007, 10:07 AM

OK, 2 questions. 1. My headlights started to cut off on my during riding this past weekend, all the other stuff works, turn signals, tail light, etc. I hit the horn and the headlight comes on, go figure. It happens again, try the horn, doesnt work this time, jiggle some wires, they come one. Is this a short in the wire some where? How can I find it and fix it? 2. Is the fuse box screwed in or clipped on, I went to check the fuses and noticed that the owner before me removed and replaced the fuse box, its backwards, how do I flip it back to the right way. 2003 GSXR 750.

Is the headlight coolant low? Check for that first. Then start looking for electrical. Wire corrosion etc.

Sadly this is common on the 750. Eletrical issues, my friend has been chaising his down for over a month now, even the shops cant figure it out. Best bet is to clean the connections and use dielectric grease on EVERY electrical connection you can.
