lm-2 wideband AFR meter? - August 5, 2011, 08:32 AM

I've been thinking of picking up a lm-2 wide-band AFR meter for a while. Has anyone used one on a bike to aquire real time readings? If so what were your thoughts?

http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/products/lm2.php

I was able to find the "basic kit" (wideband, reader/logger cable and bung) for under $270

What I liked about it is that it does data logging to a SD card, and allows two additional alalog inputs (like TPS)

What benefit are you looking to get out of it? -Do you plan on adjusting the mapping on your own?

I have the LM-1 and it clips to the exhaust tip, doesn't require a permanent bung, and it works great.

Perfect 13.3-13.8 (max power AFR for my particular motor) is the end goal and yes I plan on adjusting my mappi...err jetting. Also the LM1 is no longer availible.

As for the weld in bung, it gives more accurate readings than a tube down the pipe, welding it in is a non issue for me.

Are you dataloging with your LM1? My goal in addition to AFR is to pull TP and RPM with it.
