You live more in five minutes on a bike like this going flat out than some people live in a lifetime.

I use to pry the seat off my old zx6r, you might be able to do the same. Otherwise, start taking off the tail bodywork, you'll eventually be able to get in there.

the way the body work is made you will be forced to break something. You will need to have the seat off to get the tail section off. The older bikes you could take shit apart but not that bike and newer bikes.

If you have to do it in a hurry I say sacrafice the passenger seat. You can cop on on ebay for about $20-$45.

If you take the tripple off to get a lock smith to make a key/key alike, you are going to spend $29+.

Pry it up at the very rear. the real slid in tab will break 70% chance of it breaking that is. I have done this twice and one time it didnt break but the seat was lose, the other time it broke. use a long pry bar or screw driver and get it a little to the side on the back.

If you need to replace the seat later...they are a dime a dozen on ebay.

I stand corrected on vouching for an idea.

That makes sense that you can't access a "locked" section of the bike by taking it apart...guess that would defeat the purpose of it being locked.

The plastic undertray is solid and cupped. so even if you took the bottom off it will not access the inside. The tail plastic lifts up so it needs to be unbolted with seat off. thats why i posted pics.
