Metal worker guys. Need some help - February 16, 2012, 12:05 AM

I have a bolt that I need shortened. It's the motor mount bolt. Also I need someone with a lathe to make a plug so the bolt will snug into the frame.

The bolt is not steel it's some kind of aircraft grade alloy. Cutting it shouldn't be a problem but I need it threaded for a bolt.

It sounds simple explaining it here but I need someone that can shape metal and thread alloy. I know some of you guys are pretty talented fabricators. Rather give you the business.

Looking for someone fairly close to DC. Already have to bring the bike down from MD so don't want an hour drive into VA after.

Thanks

Then again... That's just me.

On the internet... Everyone is an expert.

And now...The dancing Banana:
