As long as the 10w40 is called for in the owners manual, the bike won't know the difference between mineral or synthetic. You are good to go!

Motul is one of the best motorcycle oils on the market. If want to run the best, spend a little extra and go with the Motul 7100 it is an ester based synthetic which is great for motorcycles.
