Need advice on testing HIDs - August 1, 2012, 03:43 PM

Does anyone know how to test HID ballast or the bulbs? I can't get my low beam working and it's not the relay. it's 55w slim digital from DDM. The high beam works, just hoping it's not the whole ballast and just the bulb. Can I use a voltometer to see if the power is going to the bulbs or what?

Simplest thing you can do is put the ballast in question on the high beam side and do the same with the bulb. Do that before messing round with multimeters.
