Need help, warranty question - June 22, 2009, 09:43 AM

I was riding down the highway a few days ago when I felt something hit my left foot, hard enough to knock it off of the peg. It was dark, so I just assumed that it was something I didn't see and kept on riding. When I got home (10 miles later), I realized that my left side fairing had actually been what hit me, and was completely off. I jumped in the car, went to where I thought I was when I felt something hit my leg, and there it was, on the side of the road, very minor damage.

After getting it home, I noticed that all the bolts where still in place, and still tight. The part where they screw in had failed, and had broken off of the bike, allowing the fairing to come off.

Can anyone tell me if this could be fixed via warranty? The bike only has 5600 miles on it, and is a 2008. The only reputable dealership that I can think of dealing with Honda is Colemans. Anyone work there or somewhere else that could help me out?

Your help would be GREATLY appreciated.
