new brake pads - March 30, 2011, 04:36 PM

Sup guys im looking to replace my brake pads and the ppl over at Sportbike Track Gear recommended the Carbon Lorraine XBK5. Any experience with these?

I plan on a doing a few trackdays and spirited street riding with whatever I choose.

The price seems pretty competitive, so if ppl have had good experience with them then I will pick them up.

Thanks

I settled on the EMC double h sintered. I didn't go full blown race pads cause they need to heat up more to get full use(from what I'm told), and that the double h would be great for street + track mix

The CL XBK5's are great pads for most bikes, give great feel and decent wear; the A3+ are the race pads and are for track only...they take a lot of heat to work right.
