I lost my shift forks in my 93 GSXR600. Back then parts and labor were $1300.

I bought a used motor out of an RF600 and had it freighted from GA. Cost me $1000.

Yeaah - maybe try to locate a used motor and have someone on here install it for some $$.. I know there are a couple people on here who can have it done in a couple hours.

Did you by any chance take the linkage down on your shifter for maintenance? If so, you could have possibly gotten it out of adjustment. It's a pain in the ass to get back right, but it's free. Check the simple stuff first.

If your shift linkage is not outta wack it's gonna be a lot cheaper to drop the current motor out and just swap it for another used motor with lower miles. Check the GSXR boards and forums to see if this is a known and common issue. If it is be ready for it to happen again with the next motor.

God Speed Jeff! You'll never be forgotten.
