Shell Rotella T Synthetic 5W40

$19/gallon.

Easier posting an answer rather than telling you to search.

synthetic is a waste unless you go for extended mileage between changes.

Sorry wasn't trying to be a dick but I've seen 1000 post on oil and various arguments for one over the other. If it helps any I run Repsol full synthetic in my bike.

Yeh, a thousand posts, and a thousand opinions!! However, very little definitive info. The fact is that any good quality oil designed for motorcycles will probably work fine. We ran synthetic in the race bike, semi-synthetic in the street bikes, and to tell the truth, we couldn't tell you if there was any difference. I suspect the brand is less important than the proper grade and regular oil and filter changes.

Chevron Delo 400 LE or Synthetic

Hand down one of the best oils, period.
